Artist Biography
Warren R. Mack is a Toronto-based architect and artist. His work draws upon methodologies and inspiration inherent to either discipline, relying upon experimentation and process to reveal different means of expression.
Art, design, and craft have been key to his development and education from an early age, being trained in an array of techniques and mediums along the way. Such skills culminated in the study of art history and architecture at Carleton University in Ottawa, during which time Warren travelled and worked abroad, including a school term in Rome, and an internship in London, UK. Immediately following formal education, Warren honed his carpentry skills through custom wood framing, constructing forced perspective sets for film, and professional architectural models.
His career has taken him around the globe, providing the opportunity to work across Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, and throughout the Middle East. He has displayed his art in New York, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
Warren will be showing two bodies of work at his show in October of 2026: Hypervigilance and Illuminosity. A digital preview of these works is currently on display on Warren’s website.
